Renea Dumas
PresidentAs president of PlanConnect since 2016, Renea runs the day-to-day operations in the Syracuse, N.Y. office. Renea was a co-founder of PlanConnect and worked to build the foundation and services offered today. She is committed to excellence, the success of PlanConnect and providing outstanding customer service to the clients served and their employees. Renea is eager to partner with other organizations through presentations and education for the betterment of the 403(b) and 457(b) industry.
Renea has managed business continuity plans, controls, customer service, common remitter, regulation compliance, workflows, procedures, forms, training, system changes, and vendor relationships needed to comply with the rules and regulations set forth by FINRA, and the SEC, as well as Sections 403(b) and 457(b) of the IRS code. During Renea’s 33 years in the insurance and financial services industry she has led:
- Insurance product conversions,
- Insurance product implementations and forms development,
- Operational system changes and testing,
- SOC 1 controls and testing,
- Transaction web development,
- Operational and business analyst teams,
- Sales and marketing, and
- Relocation of a business area responsible for handling more than two (2) billion in contributions and seven (7) million transactions annually.
Renea has also led many other large scale corporate initiatives, and is a member of NTSA and ASPAA
